This guy is a crazy!
For the second year in a row, Rob Scallon has turned May into May-tallica, promising a month’s worth of tributes to arguably the biggest heavy metal band of all time. He kicks things off with this highly respectable banjo cover of one of the all-time great Metallica tunes, “Master of Puppets.”
Fun Fact: The “Master” of puppets is a reference to drugs. All through the track the “Master” controls you and your life. That is evident in lyrics like, “chop your breakfast on a mirror,” “The Master Of Puppets is pulling your strings, twisting your thoughts and smashing your dreams.” Drugs is the Master whereas the drug person is the puppet.
