Metallica release video showing clips of them performing Hardwired in cities across the world
Metallica have released a video showcasing their track Hardwired.
It was the first track that James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo launched from their 10th album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct last August.
The new video features clips of the band playing the song in various cities around the world, including New York, Copenhagen, London, Bogota, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and Toronto.
Later this week, Metallica will live stream a rehearsal session the night before the start of the North American leg of their WorldWired tour.
They’ll play a four-song set at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium tomorrow night (May 9) and fans will be able to watch the live session live on Facebook and through their website.
Drummer Ulrich said: “We are psyched to share some of our rehearsals and final pre-production run-through with our friends around the world, and we hope you’ll come hang with us as we fire up the engines for the North American summer run.”
Their North American tour will get underway the following evening at the same venue.
